Q: What services does The Huxley Practice offer?

Q: Where is The Huxley Practice located?
A: Our in-person consultations are held within the Centro Neurodiagnosis Dr Rossiñol, Avenida Alemania 3, 2nd floor, 07003 Palma de Mallorca. We also offer home, hotel and boat visits.
Please note that we do not operate a walk-in service - please book an appointment via our online booking system or by contacting us directly.
Q: What are your opening hours?
A: Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 0930 to 1430. Visits and calls are available outside these times subject to availability.
Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: You can book an appointment online, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Q: Do you offer an 24 hour on-call service?
A: While we don't offer a dedicated on-call service, we strive to provide prompt and responsive care during our regular business hours. For urgent medical matters outside of our hours, we recommend contacting the local emergency services in Mallorca on 112 or 061, or visiting the nearest Accident and Emergency department.

Q: How long are your appointments?
A: First consultations in our clinic start at 80 Euros for a 20-minute appointment and 120 Euros for a 30-minute appointment. Follow-up prices vary depending on complexity, please ask for details.
Q: What should I bring to my appointment?
A: Please bring your ID or passport, any relevant medical records, and a list of any medications you are currently taking.
Q: Do you offer consultations in English and Spanish?
A: Yes, Dr. Wilkinson is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment?
A: Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your appointment.
Fees & Insurance
Q: What are your fees?
A: We are a private practice and charge a fee per service. First consultations in our clinic start at 80 Euros for a 20-minute appointment and 120 Euros for a 30-minute appointment.

Home and hotel visits 180 Euros.
Repeat prescriptions (if no changes required and previous prescription issued by us): Please consult
Further treatment and testing at our local lab (including blood tests) are subject to an additional fee.
Any additional costs will be discussed with you during your appointment.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: We are approved providers with Air Doctor and AXA Global (although please note this is not the same as AXA Spain).
We do not work directly with any other insurers but our services may be covered. Check in with your insurer for advice. Some insurers will reimburse you on presentation of an official invoice, which we are happy to provide.
Q: Do you accept the Global or European Health Insurance card?
A: No, we do not accept the Global Health Insurance Card or the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). These entitle travellers to medically necessary public health services while travelling, such as emergency treatment at a public hospital.
Q: Which payment methods do you accept?
A: You can pay by card, bank transfer, or cash.

For Tourists & Visitors
Q: I am a tourist, can I see you?
A: Yes! We welcome tourists and visitors to our practice. We can also arrange visits to your hotel, holiday apartment or boat if preferred.
Q: What if I need medical care outside of your opening hours?
A: In case of a medical emergency, head to your nearest Accident and Emergency department. Dial 112 or 061 for an ambulance.
Q: Can you help me find an English-speaking specialist?
A: Yes, we have a network of English-speaking specialists that we can refer you to.
